Trey Songz is one of the few artusts that I can honestly say I discovered and have been following since he came out. Usually I'll hear about somebody through a friend or somethin like that but I really liked him since his first song came out. I mean, I didn't have the money to go out and buy the cd when it came out so I had to buy it bootleg lol but I bought the second one and I stay supportin him.

Def. the most versatile R&B artist today and at the same time the most under rated. He raps and sings and show cased this talent on his single to his second cd Trey Day. The two songs I put down below are probably my two favorite mixtape songz he has out. The first one is called U Belong To Me.. A crazy joint. Pretty much speaks for itself. And the second joint is probably my favorite one he ever made cause it tells his story and how he got to be where he is today. Dude went through a crazy struggle and you gotta respect him after you listen to the song. (In the song it goes Trey, Weezy, Trey. So you can listen to the whole thing or just skip it). I got a lot to say about him but I'd rather you just check him out. New cd comes out August 4th. Def. worth buying trust me.

What Happened?

It is 1:37 as I begin this post and I'm writing this because I can't get to sleep which is normal, the only problem w. this today is that I have to leave for work at 7 in the morning. I'm not sure if I will actually go through w. it but I've decided that I'm gonna stay up til 7 because I don't want to go to sleep and not wake up in time for work. Lol. Tossing and turnin in bed has only led to my mind wandering, and the essentials needed to begin this post. After much thought was given, I have come to the conclusion that I probably spend 60 percent of my time either on the computer, the cell phone, or unfortunately, in front of the t.v.

The number of hours I spend wandering the internet for new movie trailors and releases (still waiting on the Incrediles 2 Lol), to searching through my favorites list to see what new clothes came out, to searching Youtube aimlessly looking for a new random video that for some reason has over one million views is absurd. My good friend Brandon was the first to bring this to my attention during a typicaly conversation about things we found on the internet he said, "What would we do without the internet, like how would we find this shit?" Definetly a good question cause I have no idea how I would know half of the things I know now. Unfortunately only about 5 percent of the time I spend searching the internet is about a historical fact having to do w. something other than clothes or the newest streetwear line, but in time that will change.

Today was the first day I have done anything athletic in ages and I'm not too proud of that fact. I remember at a much younger age I wouldn't go in the house until it was too dark to see. I always wanted to be outside gettin into to some sort of trouble. Over the past year big screen tv's, cell phones and the internet (and an injury) have reduced my time spent outside considerably. For instance, when I was in high school I was out the house until at least 5 or 6 o'clock engaging in some kind of sport but as college hit and I came home from break, I didn't leave the house until 5 only to go to another friends house staying up until 5 or 6 the next morning. Lol. Good times though.. Good times.

But how many people can honestly say that they could live without being able to send a text, an email, not watch t.v. or stay off facebook for entire month? I highly doubt the number would surprise me. Not to say that I'm gonna completely remove myself from all technology starting today or tomorrow but I'm def. gonna get out the house more to do somethin. As soon as this leg is better I'm goin back to the old days of playin football, dodgeball, kickball, burtonball and other other form of athletic sport ending in ball, until it's too dark to play the game anymore.

Ready and willing to take on all challengers. My sister just popped it in the Wii and I probly sit in the crib for the next couple hours playin this jawn. Lol. def. not Street Fighter or NBA Live, but sports games were never to my advantage. Checkers, Chess, Strategeo LOL, and Mario Kart Wii. Can't Stop me..

Day Dream..

Bein a lifeguard leaves me w. more than enough time to sit and think; eventually leading to day dreaming. When I first started working, as every employee does, I did everything I was supposed to do to attempt to impress the boss and impose a great first impression. As the months went by and the hours increased, I succumbed to the inevitable and every once in a while I tend to drift off in to whatever worl my mind brings me to. Today at work I started thinkin about where I would go if I had a time machine. At first I thought I would go back to the 70's or 80's as every one does, next I moved on to the times of Martin Luther King, and Malcom X. But as I really started thinkin about it I realized that no place is better than the first few years of your life.

When I think back to how many times a month I talk about how stupid the new cartoons are, or how bad I miss shows like Rocket Power, Ren and Stimpy, Doug and so many that aren't listed above, it has to be over 10 times. As a matter of fact I just mentioned to my good brother Chris that I could probably find some of the old dvd's on ebay.

But on another note, I remember runnin home to watch the newest episode of Pokemon, bein scared as shit of the last epidsode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? and wishin that I was on Guts cause I always thought I was better than anybody on the show. Lol. My favorite show was def. the show that you had run around the store w. a shoppin cart and whatever you put in the cart was yours. WWHHHHATTT!? I used to make lists of the shit I would get. Too bad I was never on the show though. But it def. doesn't stop at just the tv shows..

Classics. As you can see there are 3 Jim Carrey movies only because he is the funniest actor ever lol. If you don't agree I suggest you watch both Ace Venturas, Liar Liar, and The Mask and I'm certain that will change your mind. The ideas of the movies listed above came from a nice collection of vhs tapes I recently found in a cabinet in my house. (I'm still lookin for a vhs player by the way. J.Rogers didn't come through in the clutch like I thought he was and I hope you read this) This collection of 8 simple movies is no where near the entire collection of childhood memories that I have hidden deep in my memory. Lol. I'm sure those of you who visit will be able to think of plenty more in just a matter of seconds, but I must say this is not a bad list at all.

I could go on and on about the clothes, music, skateboarding and other activities I was involved in, trips to Disney World and where ever else, as well as my dreams of one day being a basketball player LOL, but the sun is starting to rise at 5:30 hits and I believe it's time for me to end this. Hopefully, if I regain the desire to reflect on how much I miss my my days as an adolencent, I'll continue this post, but until then I'll leave you w. this..

AAAYYYY!! OKKKAAAYY!

So today went exactly as planned w. a little twist at the end. I finally got my hair done after walking around w. a mini fro for the past 3 months and I'm more than pleased w. the results. After I left the shop I headed over to chill w. my good brother C-Murder who was located conveniently around the corner. Following that we headed over to Brandon's crib to present to him the new doo and create the master plan for the evening.

The decision couldn't have been better. The family decided to assemble at the Franklin Mills mall at approximately 12 midnight to watch the much anticipated release of Transformers 2. The fact that it cut off half way through the movie. Definetly helped make the movie much better. Lol. But even though it fast forwaded to the end of the movie and started playing backwards in a language that sounded like Donnie from the Wild Thornberrys, we were not phased and quickly walked across the hall to the next theater to resume watching.


Transformers 2 pretty much speaks for itself and for those of you who had the chance to see it themselves, you know what I'm talking about. The best part of the night was probably not seeing the movie, but the fact that I got a free movie pass. Seems like my plans for next weekend are already made..

I Know A Thing Or Two About A Thing Or Two

Staying up until the wee hours of the night has left me to some serious movie searches on Comcast. I really don't know what I would do without it. Everytime I think I've watched every movie I find a new one, and I'm rarely disappointed. Tonight I decided to test the waters with an old DeNiro filmed called This Boy's Life. It's not often that a movie made in '93 would have a movie trailer but luckily for me I was offered a preview to a movie that has made a big impact on my life.

The story begins w. Leonardo Dicaprio, who plays as Toby, and his mom wandering the plains in a beat up car called the Nash, searching for fortune in which I guess was a big rave in the 50's: unranium. Traveling across the globe from Florida to Salt Lake City, Utah then to tryin to move away from hardships and bad times, but it trouble always seems to find Toby as he hangs out w. the wrong crowd and keeps to his old ways. Toby's mom meets up w. an old boyfriend who takes advantage of her which eventually leads to them moving again. Fate leads the two to Seattle where Toby's mom meets her new husband.

Things seem perfect in the begining but things quickly change as reality sets in and the good isn't good anymore. Toby keeps gettin in to trouble, stealin, smokin and has to move in w. moms boyfriend where things change for the worse. Fast forward to two years later and Jack starts to realize that he has to get away from the town he lives in called Concrete. Friend's don't look like friends anymore and Jack strives for college but his new dad won't let him hold on to his dreams for too long.

Toby gets help from a friend of his and eventually gets into college and moves away from the problems he once faced. Real good movie and I definetely suggest you watch it, lol it's a lot more interestin than what I wrote above but I tried. Check out the clip below..

At The End Of The Day All I Need Is My Niggas..

It's 3 in the mornin and all I can think about is why couldn't I think of that? Shit definetly fucks w. me when I'm not on top like at the best of my game. I just be wantin to hear like yo thats dope man or good shit but when I don't.... i don't know. I feel like I've been puttin on a front for some people, like when I'm around certain people I act different like I have to act some type of way for them to like me instead of being myself and I think I've always been like that. I guess the only people who really know me are the people I fuck w. the most. Sometimes I think like people would really fuck w. me if they knew who I really was.. and then I think like I can't be myself around everybody cause I don't trust nobody. and i mean NOBODY. But now I'm really startin to feel like I have to stop thinkin like that it's not really about who or what people think you are because at the end of the day you're only left w. you and your family and for some their closest friends. Having the friends that I have has definetly helped me become a better person and set myself up to be in a better place but I'm still not exactly where I want to be. Still tryin to fit in and mimick what other people do instead of doin me.

I feel like I need to start havin the fuck whatchu think mentality but at the same time I don't want to change who I am. I respect the fact that I'm humble and won't only talk to someone because of their status or what they can offer me. I fuck w. people cause they're cool and down to earth. I look down on people who can't fuck w. somebody if they can't make them money or put them in the spotlight.

In a sense I feel like I made this blog not only to show people what I was thinkin but more so to get people to see that i was "cool". Watchin the views to see how many people came and postin things that other people might like instead of what I really think. This blog is supposed to be about me and for a while now it hasn't been. I need to make a change....... damn

I have always had an interest in skateboarding but it wasn't until a few days ago that my interest was found once again. As my mind has been living in a time machine over the last couple days, I've really thought about all the things I used to do.. Skateboarding was the first thing that popped in to mind. Buying my first copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and memorizing every players special trick, of course was in no comparison to the Street Fighters and Marvel vs. Capcoms, but was definitely among my favorites. But it's been nearly 10 years since I lived in that era so I was forced to resort to Google's search engine where I came across the names of all my favorite players.. Which then led me to this video..

Back Once Again..

So it's been a few hours, minutes, days, weeks lol but I'm gettin back in to the swing of things due to a little motivation from my good brother Brandon as he started a blog today. Hopefully I'll stay consistent in my posting like I used to. Due to the dismissal of school and my boss putting me on the schedule only two days a week, I have more than enough free time has left me comfortable w. sitting around and doing absolutely nothing lol. In my free time I was able to come across my entire vhs collection of which I've had since my days in the 1st through 5th grades. As my journey back in time to my childhood memories continues I came across a classic.. Men in Black

Sorry for the break.. Part of it was the fact that I just got my first tattoo. It's crazy. ok this is some crazy shit. I'm sure ALL of you 90's babies understand me when I say the title Doug, All That, Darkwing Duck, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy and last but not least Hey Arnold. It was these, as well as many others, that were the highlight of our afternoon after the last bell rang and classes ended. Cartoon time. In the last couple years I have done nothing but complain about the new televsion shows that followed our favorite childhood shows. So many times I've wondered what happened to my favorite shows and why they had to be sadly replaced with shows like Dora the Explorer and Yugioh.

But there's good news people, very good news. Thanks to Facebook and the large amount of people who share our interests, a website has been made in which we can view our favorite childhood television series. Although it is a short portion, all of the shows mentioned above are offered and have many episodes available. Some even have whole seasons. Check it out..

Blades on the rotor remain folded and out of sight when not in use, and once required, they span out to convert it to a full-fledged copter. Simultaneously, the tail rotor that’s generally tucked at the car’s rear comes out to complete the transformation.The car moves on the huge front wheels, and the small black wheel (that also functions as the tail rotor) is used for steering. For controlling the CCC, the cockpit has a control sphere at the right arm and three color-coded buttons on the left arm.

The collabration between New York architect and quite famous bathroom brand is a true bath sculpture that plays with surfaces and geometrical volumes. The optical play of shapes, materials and built-in light creates a fascinating illusion of movement. The bathtub looks like simple bathtub with unusual shape built in other bathtub with wide edges. Stayin' Green

The adoption of high speed rail in the states stands to greatly curb greenhouse emissions while cutting down on our reliance on carbon-spewing cars and airplanes. Needless to say it’s one of our favorite transportation topics here at Inhabitat, so to say that this one caught our eye would be an understatement.

The system is being proposed by Solar Bullet LLC, founded by Bill Gaither and Raymond Wright. Their plan is to create a series of tracks that would serve stations including Chandler, Maricopa, Casa Grande, Eloy, Red Rock and Marana, and may one day stretch as far as Mexico City. The train would require 110 megawatts of electricity, which would be generated by solar panels mounted above the tracks.

Although the project still in its early stages of development and the estimated cost is a whopping 28 billion dollars, the idea that someday in the future we could all be riding on solar powered bullet trains is simply too cool to resist.
