Sorry for the break.. Part of it was the fact that I just got my first tattoo. It's crazy. The other was that I was stuck at my good friend Bing's crib for the past day and a half and am just now finding the time to get on the computer. But I promise, it won't happen again. ok this is some crazy shit. I'm sure ALL of you 90's babies understand me when I say the title Doug, All That, Darkwing Duck, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy and last but not least Hey Arnold. It was these, as well as many others, that were the highlight of our afternoon after the last bell rang and classes ended. Cartoon time. In the last couple years I have done nothing but complain about the new televsion shows that followed our favorite childhood shows. So many times I've wondered what happened to my favorite shows and why they had to be sadly replaced with shows like Dora the Explorer and Yugioh.

But there's good news people, very good news. Thanks to Facebook and the large amount of people who share our interests, a website has been made in which we can view our favorite childhood television series. Although it is a short portion, all of the shows mentioned above are offered and have many episodes available. Some even have whole seasons. Check it out..

Flying Car.. Almost

Flying Car! The renderings from ZEEP Design show a car that can transform into a helicopter. Blades on the rotor remain folded and out of sight when not in use, and once required, they span out to convert it to a full-fledged copter. Simultaneously, the tail rotor that’s generally tucked at the car’s rear comes out to complete the transformation.The car moves on the huge front wheels, and the small black wheel (that also functions as the tail rotor) is used for steering. For controlling the CCC, the cockpit has a control sphere at the right arm and three color-coded buttons on the left arm.

Hand Powered Lamp

Karin Johansson's lamp looks like a a globe of the Earth, powered by your hands. It transforms kinetic energy to light, through a dynamo placed inside the globe. As you spin it, it glows. Johansson explains: "The dynamo has fascinated me since before I knew what it was. I fell asleep to the sound of it when I was two years old sitting on the back of my mother's bike. My Dynamic Lamp is a part of the wireless society. It doesn't need any power supply or batteries, it just works with your own energy. It is based on the idea of producing your energy where you are, instead of transporting it in all directions across the earth. The sole by-product is exercise." Daniel Libeskind’s first bathroom product design for HOESCH was presented at ISH 2009 for the first time. The collabration between New York architect and quite famous bathroom brand is a true bath sculpture that plays with surfaces and geometrical volumes. The optical play of shapes, materials and built-in light creates a fascinating illusion of movement. The bathtub looks like simple bathtub with unusual shape built in other bathtub with wide edges.
