Flying Car.. Almost

Flying Car! The renderings from ZEEP Design show a car that can transform into a helicopter. Blades on the rotor remain folded and out of sight when not in use, and once required, they span out to convert it to a full-fledged copter. Simultaneously, the tail rotor that’s generally tucked at the car’s rear comes out to complete the transformation. The car moves on the huge front wheels, and the small black wheel (that also functions as the tail rotor) is used for steering. For controlling the CCC, the cockpit has a control sphere at the right arm and three color-coded buttons on the left arm.

They just keep'em comin..

The latest Audi R8-based PPI Razor GTR was revealed recently with a massive 580 HP coming from a stock 4.2-liter V8. This engine features a specially engineered supercharger and a ram-charged sport air filter system, along with a high performance stainless steel exhaust. With the main focus on optimizing the power-to-weight ratio, this R8 just lost 521 lbs which helped it increase torque to 600Nm and to sprint 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 towards a max speed of 200 mph.

Wanted to throw this in there for an added bonus..

Metro Cable

One of the first few posted I put up was about the future of travel. Well it seems that the future is already here in caracus, venezuela. Kind of like the cable cars in Disney World that gives you a view of the whole park. Check it out..

the city of caracas is in a valley surrounded by hills and mountains. many people livein the hills and work in the valley. infrastructure is a major part of the problem in the barrios. a new and revolutionary approach to urban planning was developed by the founders of theurban-think tank in caracas. a metro cable system connects the barrios in the outskirts of thecity with the center's commercial area. the cable meant that a normal 2 1/2hour commute isnow only 20 minutes. The Bugimen

Looks more like the Darkwing Duck mobile to me.. Check the description below..

Actually it’s a Bugimen, designed by Ehsan Moghaddampour for a future where driving is totally computer controlled leaving you as a bored passenger. Fortunately the Bugimen is designed for hot off roading so just sit back and enjoy the bumpy ride.

Influenced by desert landscapes, the Bugiman easily carves thru sand via its suction cup-like tires. A Pneumatic pump systems keep the car stable and regulates its height. The body is also a radical departure from conventional design by employing enough latex to make Trojan jealous.

Audi D7

When did Audi become cool? Right after the release of I, Robot. Since then, atleast from me, they've received a lot of attention. This car is kind of similar to the Peugeot Touch I posted a while back, but the Audi version is much better when it comes to style points. LOL. The two only relate because of the light that runs down the side of the car. Not sure if this has the touch recognition like the Peugeot, but its still pretty nice. Check it out..

"After Shark Audi and on the occasion of the "From Dream to Reality" in Iran, this is concept car with an electric motor on the front headlights and shaped neon futuristic easy recognition at night . More pictures in the suite."

The Rindspeed iChange

The Swiss auto powerhouse Rinspeed presents the ‘iChange,’ the world’s first car whose body adapts to the number of passengers on board. For Rinspeed boss Rinderknecht the vehicle is more than just a clever concept car. “The „iChange“ is a symbol for the fundamental changes the auto industry undergoes worldwide. And it is clear that only those companies will survive that have innovative answers for the demands of a new automotive era.” The visionary Rinderknecht is convinced that the days of gas-guzzling behemoths are coming to an end: “The „iChange“ is a signal for the coming global changes to individual mobility. We need to be ready to meet these challenges with new ideas.”

2015 Honda CB 750

Lines. Lines and Lines and lines. With the front face looking like a Lego, or a mega-blok. It’s the “2015 Honda CB 750″ by Igor Chak. The engine is powered by a four-cylinder liquid hydrogen engine. POW! A six-speed dual-clutch transmission with electronic lurch and traction control. Electronic tuning by the onboard computer. I’ve decided to call it “Frank”. Hello David, Frank, aka CB750, is here to take you over the canyon top.
This 2015 Honda CB 750 is a predecessor to the 1970s-80s CB (pictured below.) It’s basically exactly the same, as you can see, except it has some computers on it.

It's Been A While Since I Posted One Of These..

The Ugur Sahin designed Corvette Z03 can be yours for a cool price tag of around $69,000. To match the car’s stricking looks, Mallet Cars from Ohio has signed on to provide an additional horsepower punch. The ‘Vette tuner and noted racing outfit has produced two (extremely) high-power force-induced packages for the limited-edition European-penned sportscar. Donning all-carbon fiber bodywork, the Z03 has the sleek, retro-inspired looks to match its available 999-hp twin-turbo kick. For those not keen on wearing through tires every other week, a more modest 700-hp supercharged version is also available.
Only 100 of either edition will be made by Mallet and Ugur Sahin. Aesthetic conversions begin at the aforementioned price point and if more power is desired, customers will have to pay more to play.
The supercharged, 700-hp engine costs $32,700 while the twin-turbo, 999-hp engine asks $35,795. Amazingly, the super- or turbocharged Z03 comes complete with a 24,000 mile/two year warranty. No word on a release date.

GM and Segway to revive urban transportation

Although the overall look of this vehicle seems a bit humurous, I can't help but think that this could be an actual form of transportation in the future. A definte upgrade from the previous Segway model, you no longer have to stand up and manuver your bodyweight as if you were in one of those horrible motorcycle arcade games. Check it out..

General Motors and Segway have joined hands to change the way we commute in urban environments. The celebrated duo has announced a self-balancing two-wheeled vehicle called the Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility Project (P.U.M.A.) that reaching the top speed of 35 mph will set new speed for self-balancing vehicles. Slated to debut at the New York Auto Show this week, the electric vehicle generates power from a lithium battery that amasses enough charge to run it for up to 25 miles on a single charge. Creating new fashion trends for cars, the compact vehicle allows mobility freedom with its ability to communicate with vehicles around it, which will help in reducing the risk of accidents and regulating the flow of traffic. Moreover, the energy efficient vehicle with no emissions will help in sustaining the environment.

Project Kanh's Bently

Although I am much more interested in speed rather than style, this Bently was too nice to ignore. Not only is it classy but check out the rims. Typically a "baller" would have to pay money for their 22" rims, but not with this Bentley. Check it out..
