My Apologies..

Sorry for the break.. Part of it was the fact that I just got my first tattoo. It's crazy. The other was that I was stuck at my good friend Bing's crib for the past day and a half and am just now finding the time to get on the computer. But I promise, it won't happen again. Hopefully this throwback joint will help you forgive me.

Throwback Joint

It's only right..
Friday.. The best day of week. I remember the first time I heard this song was as I was leaving Karate practice in the middle of some garden in the suburbs. Yeah the burbs. LOL. I was a young bul, but this is still the shit.

Will Smith Is Still The Man..

As I concluded the last post I wanted to post the Summertime video by The Fresh Prince and decided to just give him his own complete post. Some of the joints I fuck with most. You'll have to excuse the annyoing Atari like intro in the begining. The rest of the video is the truth..

Last but not least..

Brand New

Well not exactly lol. I'm just coming across this video now and I think it's been out for over a week now. DAMN. Anyway, it's hot and Songz has to have almost every (important) rapper in this video. LOL.

Dat Kid From Cleveland

Mixtapes have always been important in Hip Hop. However, in recent years they have moved from freestyles over rehashed beats with DJs screaming over the verses to virtually album quality music. Now, MCs use the format to establish a buzz, intensify that buzz and in some cases pave the road to super stardom. Since Kid Cudi hooked up with Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music his buzz has been deafening with the release of his stoner anthem Day N’ Nite . The Cleveland MC seeks to capitalize on this as well as prove his worth with the release of his new mixtape aptly titled Dat Kid From Cleveland. The mixtape includes some tracks that you may have heard before such as, the sexual innuendo laced collaboration with Kanye and Common “I Poke Her Face” and the Transformers 2 theme song “Sky Might Fall”. There are also new tracks, skits and freestyles that you will hear for the first time. While the mixtape title shows a bit of modesty, soon Cudi will be known as more then just a kid from Cleveland.
