DIS.PLAY Impress: Future of touchscreen technology

I've been holding on to this post for a while now, about two or three weeks. It's crazy how fast technology is advancing. I mean, just a couple years th razor was the hottest cell phone out and it cost the same amount as the Iphone; aroundd $500. Not only are cell phones advancing but the way we create and design homes, buildings and cars. All done by simply touching a screen. What's next, time travel? LOL.

The DIS.PLAY via Impress seems to project what could be the future of touchscreen technology. It makes displays flexible and much flatter than before, by crafting them in foam and force sensors. So, it’s perfectly possible for the displays to respond to your gesticulations and the pressure on the screen. Thus, interactive technology expresses itself at full blast! Varied applications suggest advanced 3D modeling and amazing gestural communication. These high-tech utilities never imply that it’s not compatible with other standard touchscreens. Though it’s a prototype, still I look forward to see higher resolutions when it reveals itself in full glory.
